Anyone knowledgeable with the brands?
I have to get mine replaced and want to make sure they don't use a crap brand.
Also, how much have yours been if you've had them put in recently.

Pick a reliable brand, but focus your research more on the company installing. Lots of locally owned companies in the last couple of years they have been purchased by national groups that have lost a lot of what they’re good at.

I had a similar issue last summer and turned out my air ducts were the real problem, not the unit itself. Had them cleaned and sealed through https://emersonproservices.com/air-duct/ and the difference was wild—airflow got way better and my electric bill dropped. Might be worth looking into if your system's running but not keeping up.
